Polaroid, long the standard for creating image transfers, is no longer available. To address this, digital artists have explored and developed a variety of new transfer techniques.  In this class, you will learn to prepare and transfer your images to waterleaf paper. Create a stand alone one of a kind piece of art or part of a creative piece in printmaking or collage. We will print to prepared inkjet carrier sheets as well as learn to make our own substrates for transfer. The hands-on class will consist of printing and transferring your images along with altering the images with a variety of tools, brushes and pencils prior to and post transfer.  Basic knowledge of Photoshop® and experience using and inkjet printer is necessary. Bring a variety of images on a USB Memory Stick and small prints for viewing.
